Our People
Practice may not always make perfect but it often does make prepared. Our lawyers are tenacious about their practices.

Founder & Managing Partner
Aaron A. O'Brien is a results-oriented agreements lawyer — an experienced transactional specialist and certified negotiator. He began his legal career at an Am Law 100 firm, representing some of the nation's largest and most productive companies before founding O'Brien Law to bring that same caliber of counsel to entrepreneurs, emerging companies, and community-driven businesses.
His business law experience spans advising founders through start-up and capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and arts and entertainment transactions. Aaron is the Founding & Managing Partner of the O'Brien Law Firm — a small but growing practice headquartered in Cleveland and serving clients nationwide.
A dedicated civic servant, O'Brien has served on the boards of the Cleveland Public Library Foundation, Legal Aid Society of Cleveland, and the Ohio State Bar Association. He is Chapter President of the Morehouse College Alumni Association of Cleveland and serves on the boards of the United Black Fund of Cleveland and Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland.
In 2019, Aaron identified expungement and record-sealing as a means to help individuals achieve a new lease on life. His work in this space contributed to the development of Urgent Legal Care — a community law clinic designed to address urgent legal matters.
