SERVING AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL
SERVING AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL
Our Managing Partner emphasizes that volunteer service is part of being a professional. It is important to find time to give back to the community and to support charitable causes at the highest level. Some of the strongest relationships are forged over hours in service together.
This section of our newsletter is an update on how some of these hours are spent by our lawyers.
Grants Made – Commitments to Our Community Being Fulfilled
We are honored to salute the hard work of the United Black Fund of Cleveland and Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland. These two grantmaking organizations have recently concluded their latest funding cycles and continue to impact the community through their philanthropy and resource support. Collectively, these organizations have invested over $1.5 Million in the community through their grantmaking so far in 2024, with more still to come. Kudos to the CEOs of both organizations for their leadership and stewardship.
Our managing partner is a proud member of the Board of Directors of both organizations and serves as Chairman of the Board of Sisters of Charity Foundation. Congratulations to all of the grantees doing the essential work within the community. Keep it up.
Stay tuned for further updates on work being done by these organizations and their impact on the community.

Closing Digital Divides – Supporting Global Entrepreneurship
Classrooms to Corporations, a non-profit organization focused on teaching skilled trades in computer and information technology and providing resources to close digital and technological divides, successfully completed its most recent cohort at a local Cleveland parochial school. The students at the school were trained to sweep, clean, refurbish and upcycle computers, laptops and printer equipment so that it could then be packaged and shipped to underserved young woman students in the country of Tanzania. This effort was a major success and accomplishment for the organization, led by Joseph Tarasco.
Our Managing Partner is a proud member of the Board of Directors of Classrooms to Corporations and is humbled to serve and consistently inspired by the focus and drive of Mr. Tarasco who continues to make a difference on this world years after his retirement.
